Serious Games Interactive developed a freely distributed and social media integrated real-time strategy game on par with high quality games for sale. The game tests the players ability to understand the key challenges of the oil and drilling industry and lets you explore the the fascinating high-tech world of oil exploration.
I have been part of developing Quest for Oil 2.0. It is based on the original game but not includes up to 4-player multiplayer (using Photon technology), crossplatform including Mac, PC, web player and tablets, new locations, random generated levels and new gameplay features. I have been responsible for creating the auto-generating level tool, lobby room functionality plus GUI using NGUI and various new gameplay features in the game. The game was developed using Photon, Unity and C#.

Drunken Bums - Nordic Game Jam 2008
Drunken Bums is a game developed during the Nordic Game Jam 2008, the biggest game jam in the world. I was one of the programmers on the team. The team consisted of four people and had 48 hours to create the game. Because of the short time you have to create the game in this was a great exercise in rapid prototyping.
You play as a drunken bum. The game is about getting drunk, the more drunk you the more points you accumulate and the quicker, but the harder it is to control your avatar. But if you get too drunk you will get sick and pass out. Buy or mug other players to get more booze. You get money by collecting bottles. Watch out for the police or else you will end up in jail.
The game was developed using Game Maker and is free download and play. Two players can only be controlled by gamepads but the other two can be controlled by keyboard. The team has talked about trying to implement into 3D world maybe using Unreal 3 engine.

Dark Dwampage - Game Development course Spring 2007
Dark Dwampage is a game developed during the Game Development course, Spring 2007, at the IT-University of Copenhagen. I was one of the programmers on the team. The team consisted of five people and was required to create a game as part of the Game Development course.
The game is intended to be a single and multiplayer game but we decided only to implement the multiplayer part. You are supposed to play as dwarfs but the characters are not implemented in the game so you only play as the normal Unreal Characters. A few other features have also been left as we did not have time to implement them all and also because we were all new to the engine was used a lot of time on implementing some of the features. The game is supposed to be played in very dark levels and you then use various weapons and items to navigate through the level but also to reveal other player (but watch out you don't reveal yourself) so you can easier see them and kill them. There is also a skills system implemented in the game where you can choose skills you want to become good in. My part on the team was to implement the skill system menu for each player and to implement the back bone of the skill system.
My contributions as a programmer consisted of creating the skill system used in the game (upgrading functionality and XP maintainance) and GUI for the skill system menu. All coding was done in UnrealScript.
The game was developed using Unreal 3 Engine. The game is free to download but it is required that you have Unreal 3 before you can play it.

5 Minute MMORPG - Nordic Game Jam 2009
5 Minute MMORPG is a game developed during the Nordic Game Jam 2009, the biggest game jam in the world. I was one of the programmers on the team. The team consisted of about 10 people and had 48 hours to create the game. Because of the short time you have to create the game in this was a great exercise in rapid prototyping. The game is a fast-paced, action-packed, kind-of-but-not-really massively multiplayeronline role-playing game, played in the comfort of your own browser. It's everything you want from an MMORPG, in just five minutes. Over thirty playable characters. Level to 80, in less than five minutes! Tons of loot . Simulated lag! Control your avatar in the future!! Rich, detailed fantasy world, with procedurally-generated lore.
My contribution as programmer during this project was to create functionalities such as attack and defend moves for the players, but I also helped creating the delay mechanism (to simulate the lag) which is one of the main game mechanics in the game.
The game was developed using Actionscript 3.0 and Nonoba and is free to play.
